S. Lee B. Hospitality Executive, Yacht Club Director

Stuart, Florida

With over 30 years of executive hotel/resort operations and sales & marketing experience in destination resorts throughout the United States and Caribbean, I began my career in convention services at the Waldorf Astoria in New York City and progressed rapidly into sales & marketing and operations.  In addition I have a wide-reaching background in golf, spa and the development of unique amenities such as falconry, shooting, and off-road driving.  My strength lies in repositioning properties into the luxury markets, as well as team building and overall creativity.  Additionally, I have led many construction and design teams in building, rebuilding and re-branding resorts while improving profitability.  I have concentrated in the focus of exceeding guest expectations measures, improved overall guest satisfaction while maintaining and cultivating relationships with owners, management companies and each communities where my establishments were located.

Destination Resort/Hotel Management:

My destination resort/hotel management background includes the Waldorf=Astoria, New York; Woodstock Inn & Resort and Equinox Golf Resort & Spa, Vermont; Carambola Beach Resort & Golf Club, USVI; The Sagamore Resort, New York; Gateway Canyons Resort, Colorado; Omni Bedford Springs Resort, Pennsylvania; and President of Green Planet Products, the bulk wholesale division of Green Earth Technologies, a publicly-traded company.

In all communities, I felt the importance to be involved in the local chambers of commerce and non-profit organizations supporting those communities, and held Board of Directors seats for state and local associations.  I am particularly proud of my participation as a volunteer fire fighter in Colorado.
